Scope of application
For the business relationship in the online store between Sylvesse and the customer , the following general terms and conditions apply in the version valid at the time of the respective order.
With the use of the web-shop, these general terms and conditions are regarded to have been accepted by the customer. The version valid at the time of the order on this website is decisive. The customer can call up the terms and conditions via links in the web-shop at any time, especially when placing an order. It is recommended by Sylvesse and it is the responsibility of the customer to save and print out the general terms and conditions on his computer.
The web-shop is intended exclusively for adult consumers. The customer confirms compliance with this legal provision with his order.
Products
The images shown are for reference only, the actual product may vary slightly, especially because the appearance is always different as wood has different colours and grains.
The prices stated in the web-shop include the applicable VAT as well as transport costs. The prices stated in our order confirmation are decisive. Sylvesse reserves the right to change prices at any time.
Insurance
The shipment is insured until receipt is confirmed by the signature of the recipient specified in the delivery address.
Availability and Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, all items shown are available for immediate delivery. After the payment is received the item(s) are dispatched within 24 (twenty-four) hours. If there is no stock, the delivery time is extended by a maximum of three weeks.
Delivery is free shipping worldwide. We ship orders placed in Switzerland with Swiss Post. Once you receive the order confirmation, your shipment will arrive within 2-3 days. International Orders will be sent by UPS. The delivery times vary and are available on request. When calculating the delivery time, please consider the time needed for processing the order and for the payment to be received (in case of bank transfers). Once the order has been processed, we will send you an order confirmation by email.
All information on availability and delivery time is provided without guarantee. In any case, Sylvesse reserves the right to cancel orders without giving reasons.
If a delivery or partial delivery is not possible after the order has been confirmed, the customer will be informed immediately by email. The same applies if the goods cannot be sold at the originally stated price. The amount already paid by the customer will be refunded to the customer without interest. Further claims by the customer due to delayed delivery or delivery failure are excluded.
Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking code. You can use this tracking code to track your shipment.
Delivery date
The notification of the delivery date is generally sent by email. In some cases, the customer is contacted by phone to arrange an individual delivery date. Delivery dates are approximate times.
Contract conclusion
In principle, Sylvesse confirms receipt of the order within 24 (twenty-four) hours by automated email. However, this does not result in the conclusion of a contract. A contract is only concluded with the subsequent order confirmation by email from Sylvesse. It contains the actual delivery options as well as the price after deducting any redeemed credit. Any customer credit such as discount codes, vouchers, etc. can only be redeemed once
Adjustment of orders
Sylvesse accepts later modifications or cancellations of the customer’s orders up to the delivery of the order confirmation. After the order confirmation has been sent, the customer is obliged to accept the products.
Returns and right of revocation
Products can be returned within 14 (fourteen) days. Shipping expenses are borne by our company. The goods must be returned new and unused. The products must be returned in the original packaging with all protective materials and labels on the products as well as with all additional accessories or replacement material.
In the case of custom made products a return or revocation is excluded.
Default in acceptance
If the customer does not accept the products even after a grace period set for him, Sylvesse may refuse to fulfil the contract and demand compensation for non-fulfilment. Sylvesse is entitled to demand compensation for the damage actually incurred from the buyer.
Receipt of products and notification of defects
Upon receipt, the goods must be checked for damage and completeness immediately.
If the customer finds an obvious defect after delivery or if the customer finds a hidden defect later, he must inform Sylvesse of the defect in writing within 5 (five) days of its discovery. The defect found shall be described as far as possible. Sylvesse will sent information regarding the return of the product.
The acceptance of the product does not mean that the defect has been acknowledged. The examination of the claimed defect is carried out by the Sylvesse.
Payment Terms
Payment is made in advance. The customer has the choice between PayPal or a bank transfer. The delivery takes place only after receipt of the total amount of the ordered products. Until full receipt of the payment the product remains the property of Sylvesse.
Insurance
The shipment is insured until its receipt is confirmed by a signature from the recipient specified in the delivery address.
Warranty
We grant a 2-year guarantee on our items, excluding damage caused by force or mistreatent, as well as normal wear and tear, e.g. broken chains or scratches. Thereafter, all guarantee rights are forfeited. Minor deviations from the product specifications do not trigger any guarantee rights. The warranty rights expire if the customer or a third party does not follow the maintenance instructions for the products, makes changes or replaces parts without the prior consent of Sylvessse.
Product Treatment
Each piece is unique in texture and colour. Wood may change over time and develops a beautiful patina over time. This change in apperance can not be seen as a damage.
The wood we use is very resistant, it generally requires little attention. Nevertheless, we recommend that you regularly treat the wood with a natural oil, in small quantities using a soft cloth. The wood will take on a more intense color.
To preserve the beauty of your jewellery, wood needs care and attention and should be maintained with a natural oil. Avoid prolonged contact with water especially, while showering, cleaning and swimming in the sea or swimming pool. Avoid wearing the jewelry during sports activities, as excessive sweat can have a similar impact.
Return of products
In the event of a legitimate return, the customer need to contact Sylvesse, who will organize the return shippment. In this case Sylvesse sends the customer prepaid return labels. Sylvesse will bear the costs of returning the goods if the customer uses the freight prepaid return label.
Otherwise, the customer bears the direct costs of the return and the liability for the package himself. For insurance and liability reasons, the prepaid return label must be used. If the customer does not use the prepaid return label, he is liable for the full value of the returned goods. In this context, the seller is not liable for loss, damage, shipping to the wrong address or for delivery delays in return.
The purchase price will be reimbursed to the customer (minus additional, delivery and shipping costs and possible loss of value due to damage). The refund will be made using the same payment method that the customer used when placing the order, unless agreed otherwise with the customer. Refunds are the seller’s only service for returns. An exchange of the goods is excluded. The refund will only be made after the returned goods have been received by the seller and subjected to a quality check. During the quality inspection, a decision is made as to whether the goods are still new or whether there has been a loss of value, which is to be deducted from the reimbursement.
Liability and exclusion of liability
Sylvesse is not liable for
- indirect damage or consequential damage
- lost profit
- unrealized savings,
- damage due to delay in delivery
In addition, Sylvesse is not liable for damage that can be traced back to one of the following causes:
- improper, non-contractual or illegal storage
- adjustment or use of the products,
- use of incompatible spare parts or accessories,
- neglected maintenance
- improper changes or repairs to the products by the customer or third parties,
- force majeure, in particular elementary, moisture, fall and impact damage, etc., for which Sylvesse is not responsible,

Severability Clause
If provisions of these general terms and conditions should be or become partially ineffective, the other terms will remain in effect. The parties are required to replace the ineffective provisions with a legally valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic and legal sense and purpose of the ineffective provision.
Changes to these terms and conditions are possible at any time. The status at the time applies to every order.
Swiss law applies exclusively, the place of jurisdiction is Zug.
